Weather's Changing

I had almost missed it, that first sign of fall. Our early, light rain last week must have had been enough for this flower to emerge from its summer's rest.

You could feel it, smell it.
Rain clouds are approaching.
Early winter's dusk.

Will there be enough rain to make up for the summer's wastage? If there isn't a major change in Israeli water-wasting habits, we're going to suffer a major drought.

I love the smell of rain how you can smell it before it showers you with it's hopeful gracefulness!!!

Many wishes for recovery for the ill...so hard when sickness is in the equation.
Always,
Crusty~

Oy ani mitga'aga'at... Great pictures! It's truly unbelievable how much water is wasted. I still find it hard to understand how even people that thoroughly love the land can polute it in the way they do. Fortunately many Israeli's seem to become more aware of recycling etc.

I refuse to have a lawn because it needs too much water.
